约翰·利斯特，John was born in Dundee Scotland and raised in West Lafayette Indiana. His father was a Botany and Plant Pathology professor at Purdue University and his mother an actress. He earned his Bachelors degree from Ball State University and his Masters degree from Michigan State University.
