查尔斯·班德，The son of filmmaker Albert Band, Charles Band followed in his father's shoes. After several years as an independent filmmaker, he started Empire Pictures in the mid-'80s. That company collapsed due to the falling Italian currency--the company's studio was headquartered in Italy--Band established Full Moon Pictures.
