恩里科·瓜佐尼，Former painter and designer, who pioneered epic motion pictures - replete with vast sets and huge casts - before D.W. Griffith and Hollywood cornered the market. Famous, particularly, for 'Quo Vadis ?' (1912). Doubled as art director on his own films. Active until 1943.
