派珀·劳瑞，波兰和俄罗斯混血的红发美人。早期总是饰演天真无邪的少女，最终和公司闹翻。离开好莱坞之后，奔赴纽约发展，凭借和保罗·纽曼合作《江湖浪子》一鸣惊人，获得奥斯卡提名。之后在家相夫教子，直到饰演《魔女嘉莉》里的母亲。与丈夫离婚之后，又再次出现在《失宠于上帝的孩子们》的银幕上
