罗伯特·A·麦高文，Robert A. McGowan married Madeliene Rosselle, daughter of Joanne Del Mar, choreographer. He had two daughters, Maryanne (Mickie) and Madeliene. He had a prolific but stormy career, and was basically blacklisted, not by actual guilt, but by association with other blacklisted writers.
